Job Description
European Treasury Manager – Manufacturing – Milton Keynes – Circa £55,000-£65,000 + 20% bonus

Robert Walters are hiring for a European Treasury Manager for a leading manufacturing business based in Milton Keynes, but supporting 3 days per week remote working / working from home.

This is a newly-created, full-time permanent role paying circa £55,000-£65,000 plus 20% bonus and a great benefits package.

Working closely with the Finance Director and the other finance leadership team, the European Treasury Manager is tasked with managing the group's european treasury activities – This includes case forecasting/planning, treasury operations, cash management, FX management and treasury projects.

In addition to the day-to-day treasury work, the Treasury Manager will get the opportunity to take on broader responsibilities within finance, such as management of company's tax advisors, managing insurance obligations and supporting on wider finance projects.

Responsibilities include:

* Prepares and presents cash forecasts, cash positions, debt positions, status of financial investments focusing on cash liquidity by currency and locations

* Review and guide accounts receivable terms and mechanisms to optimize liquidity and payable strategies.

* Manages cross border payment and reporting between corporate and EIMEA

* Development and maintenance of relevant European treasury policies and procedures.

* Management of on-going relationships with banks and other financial institutions. Is the first line relationship manager for banking institutions.

* Management of lines of credit (as directed by corporate finance), other debt, working and depository accounts, hedging opportunities and foreign exchange matters.

* Local management of debt maturities, related interest expense and reporting, and cash investment management.

* Partners with corporate finance on credit strategies, foreign currency planning, and investments.

* Prepares and presents the monthly foreign currency hedge/forward contract position to Financial Controller, Finance Director and Global Director Tax, Treasury, Risk.

* Prepares and presents the monthly analysis of foreign exchange variance to the Corporate Finance team.

* Executes hedges and currency conversion mechanisms with broad understanding of foreign exchange concepts and impacts.

* Support with Group Tax initiatives and projects from a UK/European perspective

* Project management of group's outsourced tax work as carried out by external tax advisors

* Leads EIMEA commercial insurance renewals and negotiation.
