Job Description
My client is experiencing phenomenal rates of growth and are expanding many of their teams.
One of the positions they now require is for an experienced Credit controller. You will be joining a fantastic company and team of people. There is a great deal of positive energy within this company and prospects for career growth are excellent!
The role will assist in all areas of finance with the predominant part of the role being credit control and cash collection
Duties;
o Telephone chasing and sending chasing letters via Credit Hound.
o Resolving customers accounting queries.
o Checking Dun and Bradstreet credit notifications.
o Setting up Credit Accounts, obtaining a credit check report, setting
appropriate credit limits and saving credit application forms.
o Putting accounts on and off hold as necessary letting customers and
account managers know when this happens
o Sending Statements Monthly and ad hoc as requested by customers.
o Monitoring Bad debts and keeping this to a minimum.
o Resolving queries from the sales department.
o Review the aged debtors regularly resolving issues as they arise.
o Monitoring of customer accounts on stop and over credit limits.
o Posting credit card payments on to the sage system as necessary.
experience
o Be computer literate, knowledge of Credit Control the Sage accounting
package or similar, and Excel.
o Possess a pleasant, friendly personality and a good telephone manner.
o Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own
initiative and as part of a team.
