Job Description
Role: Credit Controller
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Working hours: Monday – Friday 8.30-5
Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Credit Controller to join their growing head office team based in Stoke-On-Trent.
Credit Controller Responsibilities:
* Evaluating new credit requests and conducting customer credit checks
* Posting payments to accounts and completing appropriate checks
* Setting up terms of credit for new customers
* Managing collection of all payments and debts
* Chasing overdue debts by telephone, email and letter within agreed timescales
* Processing invoices
* Managing the sales ledger
* Preparing statements and reminder letters Responding to customer enquiries
The successful Credit Controller will have the following:
* Previous credit control or accounting experience
* Excellent customer service
* Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Familiarity with data entry software
* Ability to work well within a busy team environment
