Job Description
Role: Credit Controller

Terms: Fixed term contract Nov22 – Oct23 (maternity cover)

Salary: £19,000 to £21,000

Location: Hybrid working (split between Home & Sheffield office, near Kelham Island)

Our client, a debt management and legal company are looking for a Credit controller with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to join their team on a hybrid basis

With the nature of the role and growth of the company, this could potentially become a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

* Ensuring prompt payment of invoices in line with client's payment terms

* Resolution of queries and disputes regarding charges invoiced

* Ability to resolve potential issues on client's accounts, such as misallocations, payments on account, and reconciliations

* Issue monthly statements to clients

* Request remittances where needed and correctly allocate all receipts/invoices in a timely manner

* Appropriate and professional escalation of unpaid invoices

* Provide weekly updates and reporting to management

* Some knowledge of accounts and accounting software would be desirable to assist with the requirements as mentioned

The ideal candidate would be self-motivated and able to adapt quickly by building positive relationships with our customer base.
