Credit Controller
Milton Keynes (with hybrid remote working options in the UK)

The Company

We are MyDek Ltd – on a mission to make high-rise balcony living safer through our fully certified non-combustible decking system.

Operating in the huge balcony refurbishment market as well as the new-build market, we harness our vast experience, creativity, passion and drive to make balconies and terraces safe places to be.

We are now looking for a Credit Controller to join us on a permanent basis. We are offering this role on both a full-time and part-time basis.

– Salary of up to £27,000 – £30,000 (pro rata for part-time)

The Role

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing our trade debtor list and ensuring invoices are not overdue.

You’ll proactively schedule and collect payments, issue invoices, report overdue payments and provide weekly cash collection reports to the Finance Manager.

Engaging with customers over the phone, you’ll respond to issues and queries and review and approve credit applications. Additionally, you’ll promptly escalate issues and disputes, sending chasing letters and warning notices and notifying the team if and when accounts are on stop.

About You

To be considered as a Credit Controller, you will need:

– At least three years’ experience in a similar credit control role
– A minimum of one years’ experience of posting data to Zoho Books or a similar Finance System
– Experience of communicating effectively with customers
– The ability to evaluate complex business requirements and handle detailed data analysis
– Project management skills
– Intermediate Excel skills
