Credit Controller – Liverpool – Knowsley
£25000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join a leading manufacturing business, based in Liverpool.

The Credit Controller will work closely with the Credit Control Supervisor to assist with daily credit control processes, ensuring that debt is kept to a minimum and that the sale ledger is maintained to a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Outbound calls to chase customer payments
Maintaining the sales ledger and ensuring that information is accurate
Opening new customer accounts
Processing bank reconciliations
Dealing with customer calls and helping to resolve queries
Raising miscellaneous credit notes and invoices
Processing customer credit applications
Pursuing debtors in line with current policies
The Credit Controller should have previous credit control experience with a high standard of numeracy, accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience working with internal and external customers is desirable and experience using current accounting software i.e. IFS or SAGE would be advantageous.
