Job Description
A successful and large manufacturing company based in Flintshire is currently looking for an experienced, high volume Credit Controller to join their existing team on a 12 month contract to cover the maternity leave of the current incumbent of the role.

The key responsibilities of the successful Credit Controller will be:

* Dealing with customers over the phone, email and letter in the successful chasing up and collection of overdue payments

* Allocation of payments to the client account and matching with the bank transaction

* Manage the customer master files in relation to amending existing account info, to ensure database and payment collection accuracy

* Dealing with and resolving customer queries in relation to invoices and their account with the company

* Ensure all documentation is recorded and filed in accordance with the company Credit Management policy

* Administration assistance to whole Department to manage internal accounts in line with departmental processes & policy

* Provision of Customer's statement requests

* Assist the Credit Manager with the administration of ongoing projects and provide administrative & analytic support for Credit assessments

* Agree payment terms and set up payment plans as per customer and company requirements

* Ad hoc duties and reporting as per needs of the business

To be considered for this role you must have:

* Previous credit control experience

* Computer literacy and the ability to record all calls and transactions on the customer record and finance system

* Strong communication – orally and written

* Ability to work as part of a team but also able to work on your own and “crack on” with the job
