Job Description
I am recruiting an Credit Controller (Accounts Receivable) to join a software company based in Cambridge on a permanent basis.
This is a hybrid role requiring you to work 2 days a week in the office and 3 days from home.
As a Credit Controller you will be part of the team responsible for collecting customer payments and month end closing.
Training, salary and benefits
£26,000 to £28,000 depending on experience
An AAT qualification is desirable but not essential, however, 12 months previous experience within a previous credit control or accounts receivable position is required.
Full systems and process training will be given, knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint are desirable.
Standard hours are 9-5:30 Monday to Friday with a 1 hour lunch break, as the clients are based in North America, there is a requirement to work a later shift 1-2 days a week from 12:30pm to 9pm, these days will be worked from home.
About the role; Your duties will include:
Collecting Customer payments through regular customer contact via email and telephone
Posting and allocating customer receipts
Escalation of disputed debts to disputes are promptly resolved
Verifying validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from business units and customers
Resolving collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit
Perform month end activities such as preparation of accruals and reports
Make recommendations for how to improve processes and procedures. Minimise the need to handle exceptionsAbout the Company:

About You:
The successful candidate would be a confident communicator and will have at least 12 months experience gained within credit control or accounts receivable.
