Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Location: Callington

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 with a 1 hour break per day

Brief:

We are a freight forwarding company looking to recruit an experienced credit controller to join our accounts team.

Responsibilities:

The role is to maintain the sales ledger, primarily liaising with clients to resolve any queries quickly and ensure payment is received within agreed terms. The candidate will need to be a confident communicator who can chase overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter, whilst liaising with management to keep them informed of any payment issues.

The successful candidate will allocate payments as they are received and ensure the correct credit insurance cover is obtained on all clients. Other responsibilities include the updating and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases as well as ad hoc administrative tasks requested by management.

Requirements:

* Accounts/credit control background

* Fully competent with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel

* Excellent communication skills

* Attention to detail and accurate data entry

* Good communication skills

* Proficient at wording emails in a professional manner and ensuring that all client requests are fulfilled and answered in a timely manner

* A good team player who will be willing to assist team members when required

* Quick learner who will easily adapt to our bespoke software package

* Must have a driving licence and vehicle to drive to work
