Credit Control Associate
£30,000-£32,000
Monday – Friday (Apply online only)
Hybrid working (2 days in the office)
Fixed Term Contract 6 months

Our client based in Bolton, is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team who will be responsible for raising invoices and credit notes for all divisions, for posting cash receipts and carrying out Credit Control for all divisions across the organisation. The key role of the Credit Controller is accountable for a responsive Accounts Receivable service.

Key responsibilities
¢ Raising invoices and credit notes on the systems, ensuring correct controls and authorisations are in place.
¢ Downloading bank statements on a daily basis and posting cash receipts to the ledger, ensuring accurate allocation of payments against invoices.
¢ Monitoring and reporting on Unallocated Cash Receipts, ensuring aged items are cleared.
¢ Best practise credit control – currently undertaken for Supplier Rebate invoices, including chasing by telephone, email and sending appropriate correspondence.
¢ Working with the Central Finance Rebates Team to resolve all supplier queries and establish the true cause of non-payment.
¢ To contribute to an accurate cash flow forecast.
¢ Using Excel to produce reporting on OTC activities to meet the needs of our internal customers, and to monitor our team performance.
