Job Description
Cost Clerk/Site Administrator

We have a freelance position available for a site based Cost Clerk/Administrator to work on a live construction project in the Portsmouth area. This position offers the opportunity for long term work and a permanent role with the business.

The cost clerk/administrator duties will include

Meeting and greeting visitors to site
Dealing with and recording all site deliveries
Accurately entering data into Excel spreadsheets of deliveries relating to multiple projects
Liaison with sub contractors and suppliers
Reconciliation of invoices and recording on the internal share point system
Entering all site induction and site documentation to the companies project control system
Full administrative support to the site team
Ordering all office stationary and suppliesThe company are a major contractor operating in civil engineering and construction projects. They carry out work throughout the South and have a long term framework across Portsmouth.

Suitable candidates must be able to work full time and have previous experience of working in an administrative role, with good IT skills and knowledge of microsoft packages including Excel.

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
