Job Description
We are seeking an expert in compliance in FCA market regulation and the successful candidate will be required to lead and advise the organisation in specific insurance market requirements, policies, legislation, standards and guidance to ensure all risks are identified.

*** This is a hybrid role with weekly visits to their operation in Derbyshire and the rest of the time from home ***

You will be a highly experienced Compliance Officer with a superb understanding and background in FCA regulations and more specifically the FCA handbook in addition to GDPR and OFCOM requirements.

You will have a proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and communicate them to operational teams in an understandable and digestible manner and will have a proven track record on successfully implementing regulatory change.

Reporting to the Director of UK Compliance you will have the following responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

Responsible person for ensuring the business meets its FCA compliance obligations associated with the services provided.
Champion compliance at all levels; liaising with relevant stakeholders to facilitate performance updates and convey issues and opportunities.
Guide and support projects and operations to ensure their sound knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements.
Provide consultation and support to the wider UK business in relation to all relevant compliance requirements, legislation and standards.
Assist with the development and review of operational policies and processes to ensure they remain aligned to regulatory requirements.
Identify potential areas of risk and understand the relevant rules and guidance.
Develop and manage a structured framework to assess and manage change.
Manage operational compliance issues and queries.
Lead the implementation of key regulatory changes, ensuring understanding and effective implementation across the business.This is a challenging, but highly rewarding role within a fast business who are growing at a pace
