Quality Assurance Coordinator

Permanent role Monday to Friday
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a technical company based in the York area who are looking for a Compliance and QA Coordinator to join their team.
The Role
Involved in all aspects of Quality Management across key business divisions: auditing, reporting, measuring, analysing, and proposing solutions to maintain ISO Quality Standards and Customer Satisfaction. Promoting and developing the Quality Management System and encouraging continuous improvement and customer satisfaction across the company.
The role is an influential one that promotes process improvement and effective interdepartmental working. A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to take on a well-established Quality System which is management led.
Duties
Control, development, and administration of all Quality System documentation in line with current working practices, legislation, and ISO 9001:2015 criteria
Completion of quality correspondence in relation to onboarding new customers and suppliers
Implement and manage the company internal audit schedule acting as lead auditor, reporting findings and driving actions for process improvement with key stakeholders
Mentor and coach internal audit team
Analyse data and compile monthly reports for management on customer and supplier non-conformances
Collate data for annual quality management review presentation
Review and communicate to customers, changes to industry legislation and compliance
Manage customer new product introduction (PPAP process)
Support sales and purchasing teams to investigate customer and supplier non-conformances to determine root cause and corrective action
Conduct customer and supplier on-site quality visits noting required actions
Manage the calibration register and organise third party calibration of key equipment
Co-ordinate with the external audit agency regards certification, administration and audits and play a lead role during the external audit process
Monitor and evaluate company KPIs and highlight areas of concern or achievement.
Skills/knowledge/Experience
2 years + experience working in a quality management role
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
Lead process auditor skills in line with ISO (Apply online only) criteria
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and reporting skills.
Strong team player and able to work on own initiative
Pro-active and organised in your approach to work
Strong IT skills- including Microsoft products, particularly Word and Excel
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Mentoring and coaching experience preferred
