The Company:
ER Recruitment are proud to be working with a forward-thinking, industry leading organisation who are continuing to thrive. They are now recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager to job share and work 5 hours per day from Wednesdays to Fridays.
Role & Responsibilities of the Commercial Finance Manager:
* Support department Heads of and Managers to produce financial plans, budget and forecasts and take a proactive approach to ensuring on time delivery.
* Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of financial planning and reporting processes.
* Understand the drivers of revenue growth and collections and challenge operational leaders to achieve and exceed budget/forecast targets.
* Exploring trends and connections between KPIs.
* Conducting ad-hoc analysis.
* Identify potential risks and opportunities to the departments through insightful and action-oriented analysis.
* Support the Head of Finance with ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic reviews.
* Develop robust business cases, working closely with the project managers to ensure accurate understanding of each case to produce a clear outcome.
* Support key projects using insight and analysis and make financially robust recommendations.
* Track the cost / benefits of projects and business cases to completion to help stakeholders gain transparent understanding of each project/business case.
* Take a proactive approach to ensuring effective cost management.
* Share best practices between departments and encourage cross functional working.
* Proactively ensure financial controls are implemented across the departments.
* Work closely with other Finance teams to continually improve end to end financial processes.
* Support process improvement projects within team to add greater value to analytical, planning and reporting processes.
* Support financial systems improvements with generation of ideas and systems testing.
About You as the Commercial Finance Manager:
Minimum 2 years working in a similar commercial/business partnering role
ACCA/CIMA or similar qualified
Commercial awareness
Systems skills
Leadership and motivation

Data gathering, reporting and analysis skills
Stakeholder and relationship management
Drive for results and change
Judgement and decision-making skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
