Our client
Autograph Recruitment (Accountancy and Finance) are delighted to be working with highly successful and progressive firm of Practice Accountants based in Wiltshire. Due to continued growth in their client portfolio, they are now looking to recruit for Client Portfolio Manager that can be based in either one if their Wiltshire based offices.
This rare and fantastic opportunity would ideally work for either a Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with professional practice experience. Clear career progression is offered and space to grow in a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
What does the role entail?
Assisting with the onboarding of new clients to ensure that they have a friendly contact and gets them off on the right step to excellent support.
Building deep, long standing relationships with your clients.
Working with the wider team to ensure plans are implemented.
Look for opportunities with clients to improve processes and business opportunities.
Working alongside the professional support network alongside clients to help the client achieve their rounded business and future goals, supporting your clients as a business partner. This may include fellow professionals such as financial advisors, mortgage brokers, business coaches etc.
Reviewing of financial information with clients but using in a way which focuses on both tax management/planning as well as future growth opportunities.
Building robust forecasting models and challenging clients to use this and interact as the business grows and develop.
Identify ways that we may be able to help our clients further and enhance the service level that we are offering.
This role is a great step for an accountant who has experience of preparing accounts within a team and looking to take the step into team management. The future progression within the role will come from working closely with the senior team with the view of moving into a more client facing and advisory role
Candidate requirements
Essential:
Experience within accountancy practice
Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or QBE with extensive practice experience
Detailed experience of preparing and being involved in the review of both personal and business accounts and tax planning.
An eagerness to do more than just “crunch the numbers”
Someone who loves working with the wider team in delivering results.
Sound IT knowledge and skills, notably Microsoft Excel
Good level of understanding of personal and business accounts and tax planning
Desirable
Experience of IRIS and Xero Software
