Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

The Category Lead will be the lead for IT Services and End User Computing, assisting the bank on achieving their cost and income targets.
The business have recently gone through a Procurement transformation, and now having excellent buy in from senior leadership, are looking at driving 'best in class procurement' across the bank.
This also includes achieving cost to income targets.
The Category Lead will be developing and implementing category strategy across the IT Services area
You will be expected to build and influence key stakeholder relationships to a senior level, taking them on the Procurement journey
Work in a cross functional team in order to deliver on wider business strategy through collaborative procurement and teamwork
Emphasis on new regulations and making sure these are adhered to
Driving proper procurement process at all levels
Acting as a Business Partner and first port of call for IT Services and End-User Computing stakeholders

CIPS or equivalent qualification would be very useful Key Skills:

You must be proactive in approach
Resilient in character – able to challenge stakeholders to achieve a positive result
Have a depth of expertise within the IT Services category and related sub-category areas
Experience within end user computing would also be beneficial to this role
Someone who understands what 'best in class' procurement looks like and can bring new ideas to the table
An ability to develop and implement category strategy
Speaking Spanish or having language skills is helpful as this is a global organisation
Someone who is able to navigate a large bluechip organisation
A strong track record of delivery within IT procurement
