Role: Business Development Manager (B2B energy / utilities)
Location: Manchester / Home based – flexible working
Salary: £20k – £40k + uncapped commissions +£10k commission achievable 1st year
Summary:
An international energy consultancy operating in the UK and Europe are looking for a BDM to be responsible for generating your own leads, qualify leads from a CRM and build and develop a sales pipeline. You will be part of a growing Consultancy providing cost reductions for international and UK clients. Full training will be given on products and services – this is a great opportunity to join this organisation looking to fill the gap in the market for large UK and international businesses with energy efficiency and sustainability services. Key Responsibilities:
Generate leads via email and outbound calling to attract new customers
Qualify prospects by establishing energy spend levels and decision-makers
Attend meetings with customers and new prospects
Capture and record prospects using websites, cold calling and any other methods. Skills & experience required:
A solid background in selling successfully to businesses
Demonstrable evidence of exceeding targets
Excellent written verbal and communication skills
Have a positive and tenacious attitude
Strong commercial awareness
Be able to actively listen
Proactive, self-motivated and ambitious
Ideally experience working in energy consultancy or energy retail business
