Assistant Management Accountant Job in Oldbury
Job Description
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting a successful manufacturing firm based in Oldbury who are looking to on board an Assistant Management Accountant. The Assistant Management Accountant will support the Financial Controller and wider finance team in the preparation of monthly management accounts, highlighting relevant information. Ideally suited to a junior candidate in the early stages of a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or AAT qualified looking for a step into a busy finance function.
Key tasks:
– Assist the Financial Controllers with month end closing procedures and weekly and monthly standard reporting
– Be responsible for the posting of accruals, prepayments and journals
– Assist with the P&L, balance sheet reporting and actual vs. forecast variance analysis
– Ad hoc reporting responsibilities
– Provide assistance to other staff within the finance team.
