Job Description
We are working with an award winning Hotel who are based in North Devon, they have a very exciting opportunity and are looking for a talented Assistant Financial Controller to join their friendly team.

The role:

· Supporting the financial controller and book keeper with the smooth running of their accounts department
· Being the finance lead on the implementation, training and setup of the new Property Management System and EPOS
· Utilise the financial systems in place to monitor and challenge costs with department heads
· During some building development on their site, assist the development team with the fortnightly valuation process, working with suppliers and complete correct documentation for authorisation of payments by their Head Office
· Supporting the Site Manager with quality audits to ensure suppliers are paid on time for works completed
· Approving Purchase Orders against budget and invoices against purchase orders. Highlight any variances to the relevant manager
· Nominal ledger reconciliations including their intercompany account
· Assisting the development team with procurement schedules for fixtures and fittings including delivery schedules and good receipt checking against purchase orders.

The Ideal candidate will be studying CIMA, ACCA or ACA, however part qualified or QBE will be considered. Candidates should enjoy working within a small team. You should also have commercial acumen and an interest in the hospitality industry!

Full time hours (5 out of 7) site based
