Job Description
Assistant Accountant

Salary £28,000 – £32,000

Based in Park Royal, West London

A well-established Commercial Utilities company based in Park Royal, West London is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant. The role will be working within a Team of another Assistant Accountant and 3 offshore support staff. This is a great opportunity for an experience finance specialist looking for their next step in their career.

Your duties will include

Monitoring daily communications and answering any finance related queries internally and externally.
Maintaining purchase ledger records in any companies assigned and managing relevant payments. Performing periodic reconciliations and delaying with any queries relating to invoices
Maintaining bank records and reconciliations of assigned accounts
Assisting in monthly management account preparation and year ends.
Assisting in preparing and providing information relating to annual statutory audits.
Assisting in collection and preparation of financial information for regulatory reporting
Any other duties relating to finance and accounting
Will be required to use Access Dimensions, Quickbooks, our own bespoke systems used for different industries.Skills and Experience required:

Part qualified or someone starting their accounting career, studying for ACCA, CIMA.
Finance graduate
2 years in finance support role
Excel – intermediate level
Used to using finance systems
Needs to be technically very sound in their accounting principles preferable done Accounting as a subject for A/L
Need energetic fast learner, prepared to take on a challenge and perform to deadlines.
Will be exposed to many parts of the finance function and be involved in developing our systemsBenefits:
