Job Description
Assistant Accountant
Join a Manufacturing and Distribution company with steady growth for the past 33 years. An SME business leading in their market, are looking for an Assistant Accountant to help the Finance team.
The company are looking for someone who is motivated and could move into an Accountant role in the near future (6 months).
Job Spec
Tasks such as invoices, supplier payments, reconciliations, and general ledger.
Data analysis and reports
Month End financial reports
Work in a team increasing efficiency and improving the team as a whole.
Deal with customers and enquiries from suppliers.
Understand software for accounting such as excel.
Intercompany recharges/transactions within the company.
Be able to communicate within a team; be able to use or initiative and problem solve.Person Spec
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills
An analytical mindset
Purchase and sales Ledger knowledge
Knowledge of Excel
Ambitious and eager to learnBonus
