Agricultural Account Handler (Sales)
Location: Preston (On-site)

Established in 2007, Country and Commercial Insurance Brokers (CCIB) is a specialist agricultural insurance broker with a longstanding reputation for excellent customer service.

Due to continued growth, we are now in a position to welcome an Account Handler with a new business focus to the team. Alongside the team of Account Executives, you will assist with providing first class service to clients on new enquiries and renewals.

On a day-to-day basis you will be:

Generating new relationships with prospective clients via proactive outreach and networking
Dealing with client queries including Policy Queries and MTA's
Providing business support to our claims handling team
Proactively chasing aged debt
Preparing and submitting renewal presentations
Working with Account Executives on larger cases (as required)
Communicating with Insurers and MGAs on a regular basis
Building solid working relationships with clients and stakeholders (both internal and external)
Ensuring Acturis is kept up to date at all times along with any other client files

Your experience:

We're looking for you to have 3+ years of insurance broking experience with exposure to Commercial Insurance products covering: Property, Motor, Liability and Combined products.
We're happy to train the product knowledge on Agriculture but an interest in Agriculture would be ideal
Your skill set should include strong communication, negotiation, sales, influencing and IT skills coupled with the ability to identify client requirements accurately
