You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients.

As an Administrator, You will join the Audit Quality Improvement Team which provides support to our client-facing specialists in audit/assurance. From performing independent quality reviews on a selection of our listed and PIE audits, to being on-hand to help with complex enquiries, the AQIT is tasked with helping our team meet their reporting requirements and consistently deliver high quality audits.

In this role you will be responsible for the provision of an efficient, effective and professional administrative support service to the Audit Quality Improvement Team. You will be expected to build a strong, direct working relationship with key contacts to ensure the smooth running of the process.

You will work closely with all members of the Audit Quality Directorate Administration team, and your role will be critical to the relationship between the team and the various stakeholders across the firm.

You will be expected to operate with the highest integrity given the sensitive nature of information that you will come across through your work.

Responsibilities

* Analyse and consolidate data from multiple sources (firm’s systems and other support teams)

* Actively monitoring deliverables and actions, and chasing of incomplete tasks

* Co-ordinating and managing information requests from various stakeholders

* Monitoring the central mailbox and fielding requests from stakeholders

* Responsible for a range of administrative and operational duties including, onboarding new joiners, recruitment, inputting staff rotas, PA cover.

* Assess and review the budgets, report any anomalies to the Directors

* Organisation of meetings for the team and diary management for the Directors to support the firm-wide reviews which take place annually

* Co-ordinating the various reporting requirements

* Co-ordinating various team admin matters including people management

* Continuously review and assess current processes and procedures, feeding back any suggestions to the team

Requirements

You will be an organised, efficient team player and have a flexible approach to involvement in different projects. You will have the ability to communicate well with all levels across the firm and with interested stakeholders.

* Previous experience of office/Administration services assistant preferable

* Desirable: Good knowledge of all Microsoft office packages
