Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Location: Dunfermline (1 day office based)

The Role

My well established client are looking for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to manage the Accounts Receivable team to ensure all funds are received into the business. Overseeing the end to end finance operations for Accounts Receivable and Banking. Reporting into the Financial Controller alongside a supportive and collaborative finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Day to Day management of the Accounts Receivables and Banking Teams
Manage and deliver on the month end reporting, adhering to Group requirements
Debt; management of the client, organisation and PP debt process, including monthly provision calculation, company reporting and annual write off process
Aged Debtor review and reporting, working with external service provider
Identify areas for improvement within the existing debt management financial processes to drive continuous improvements and efficiencies.
Oversee bank reconciliation and resolution of banking differences. Timely Petty cash reporting and banking allocations
Identify areas for improvement within the existing accounts receivables financial processes to drive continuous improvements and efficiencies.
Oversight of the Finance mailbox
Ownership of the Fixed Asset end to end processes
Ownership of the Stock end to end processes
Compliance and reporting for the Group interco recharge process
Release and reconciliation of Prepayments
Oversight and review of balance sheet reconciliations
Support and deliver the annual external audit for all areas of responsibilities
Ensure compliance to process and drive for continuous improvements within team

Skills & Experience

Relevant experience
Excellent Excel skills and strong IT literacy
Ability to delegate and manage the work of others
Commercial awareness, the ability to prioritise workload based on business needs
Self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative, as well as being highly team orientated
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Positive approach to problem solving
