Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a leading business based in Cambridge. This role is a newly created position, due to relocation of the role to the UK, and within this role you will report into Financial Controller. This role offers fantastic flexible working benefits, with the majority of the role being able to be worked from home, with office based working required around once a week. 

As the incoming Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:
– Processing and record multi-currency purchase invoices
– Maintaining cashbooks
– Reconciling supplier statements
– Processing employee expense claims
– Processing credit card statements
– Additional ad hoc duties as required

As the successful candidate, you will possess strong knowledge of accounts payable processing, ideally within a similar level role to this. Good knowledge of larger finance systems would be considered advantageous, as well as having a good base of excel skills. Other desirable attributes you will ideally possess, include:
– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to prioritise your workload in an efficient and effective manner
– Excellent communication skills
