Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable clerk to join our well-established client on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a full-time position that has the potential to become permanent in the future.
This role will be working in a small but hard-working finance team and will be working on the client's bespoke systems. The ability to be willing to learn and be able to pick new systems up easily is key.
MAY SUIT FINANCE GRADUATE
Responsibilities
* Process incoming invoices
* To check customer account statements to advise on the status of the invoice
* Dealing with queries as required
* Contribute to month/year-end processes
* Perform the month-end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgers statements
* Maintain an excellent working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
* Resolution of customer payment queries in a timely manner
* To sort and distribute all incoming finance post
* Support the department where necessary with general administrative duties
Salary is £20k – £23k DOE
Immediate start is available for the right person.
