Accounts Assistant – Witham

Adecco Chelmsford are currently recruiting for a well-experienced Accounts Assistant for our successful client based in Witham. Working within the accounts team, you will be responsible for the accounting and financial procedures of the company. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and have the ability to work well in a team setting.

Responsibilities –

Overseeing the production of the sales and purchase ledger.
Checking purchase invoices against CSV sheets
Managing the credit control function and chasing overdue payments by telephone and email.
Reconciling bank statements.
Arranging daily payments
Chasing operators for Invoices.
Working with different currencies GBP, EUR & USD
Working closely with the Accounts manager and team on a day-to-day basisRequirements –

Experience working with SAGE, purchases & sales ledger
Accounting qualifications
Experience working within a similar position
Excellent attention to detail
Analytically minded

Type: Permanent

Location: Witham

Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: £25,000 – £35,000 dependant on experience
