Job Description
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

WAKEFIELD

£28,000 – £30,000 + BENEFITS

12 MONTH CONTRACT

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited is exclusively partnered with a fantastic Property business based in Wakefield. They're looking to hire a Accounts Assistant, to join the team and support the Senior Accountant. This role would be a fantastic role for a candidate that is looking to continue their career within Accounts working within a fantastic business.

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Responsible for credit control
Responsible for purchase ledger
Responsible for payroll and expenses
Responsible for customer payments
Negotiate payment plans with customers where necessary
Manage Invoice payments from clients
Use Sage 50 to post payments
VAT Returns
Support with Payroll within the business

KEY EXPERIENCE:

2 years experience within an Accounts Setting
AAT Qualified or qualified through experience
IT systems savvy with experience of Microsoft Excel and Sage 50 desirable
Determined and results focused
