Job Description
Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator | Scunthorpe
Salary: up to £25,000 + AAT Study
Office based: Monday to Friday
Fantastic career opportunity for a Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator to join a thriving Scunthorpe business. An exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join an established team. This accounts assistant role will suit someone who is studying their AAT with experience in both purchase and sales ledger and administration.
Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator role and duties:
* Purchase ledger: processing invoices
* Sales Ledger: raise regular sales invoices – approx 600 per month
* Setting up of new customer accounts
* Account reconciliations
* Allocation of payments on a daily basis
* Assisting at month end
* Dealing with account queries and sending our copy invoices
* Supporting team members on an ad hoc basis and holiday cover
Requirements for the Accounts Assistant position:
* Previous experience of purchase ledger / accounts payable and sales ledger / accounts receivable
* AAT Studier / Experience Accounts assistant / Finance assistant / Assistant accountant
* Experience of using accounting packages and have sound Excel skills
* Confident communication skills
* Ability to work to deadlines and as part of a team
