Job Description
CMA are partnering with a growing financial services business based in Petersfield, Hampshire on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced accounts assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. This role would report into the Chief Finance Officer and would offer a great opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant to gain wider autonomy and develop their skillset.

What will the role involve?

Take sole ownership of the purchase ledger including batching, coding and processing of invoices, reconciling statements and resolving queries;
Prepare and process BACS payment runs;
Lead of the VAT returns;
Produce daily and weekly reports looking into financial trends and producing commission reports;
Other ad hoc duties within the finance team.

Suitable Candidate:

Previous experience working in a varied accounts assistant type role;
Strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills;
Excellent IT skills including experience of Xero and intermediate excel is desired.
