Job Description
A successful on-line jewellery brand based in Bath City centre is seeking an Accounts Assistant, paying between £24,000 to £27,000 plus benefits, to join their small, fast paced team.

This is a really exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate who is looking for their next accounts opportunity to work for a company that will really grow and develop you. You will be exposed to all elements and duties as it is a small team, there is also room for growth and promotion in the team. If you are looking down the line to progress, there would be management opportunities for the right person and if you show that interest.

This would be a hybrid position too, working 2 days in the office, but some flexibility will be given. Duties will include the following:

Maintaining Ledgers
Raising invoices and liaising with customers
Debt control
Assisting maintenance of working cash flows
Stock costings and imports
Assisting with IOSS & VAT submissions
Balance sheet reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Assisting with payroll and completion of P11ds
Provide cover for other members of the Finance team as and when requiredThe ideal candidate will come from an accounts background and have some sort of accounts qualification. You will be adaptable and dynamic, having the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As the role is working within the on-line retail industry things change quickly from day to day, month by month so adaptability is a must in this role. You will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, the team is small so everyone pitches in tot get the job done. Excel is a must in this role, with Sage 50 being desirable
