THE COMPANY:
The company is a well-established accountancy practice that has a great family culture and prides itself on training and development. They offer a variety of accountancy services for all types of highly valued clients and are now looking for an Accountant to join their close-knit team.
THE ROLE:
As an Accountant you will be preparing Sole trade and Partnership accounts, Limited company accounts, self-assessment returns, CT600 and VAT returns. The company provide on the job training with continuing support to enable you to undertake a full range of duties and develop your career.
THE CANDIDATE:
Successful candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience at an Accountancy Practice and also be completing or have completed their AAT level 4 qualification. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential with the ability to work independently and also liaise with staff, clients and HMRC. Knowledge of BTC, VT Software, Quickbooks, Sage, Xero and Moneysoft Payroll would be beneficial but are not essential.
