Job Description
Our client is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire and are leaders in their field.  CMA are excited to be working with this bright and innovative company for the role of Management Accountant.  Reporting to the Finance Manager the main duties will be to provide analysis performance for a portfolio of clients, particularly in respect of funding and property industries.  You will provide financial information to the finance managers to help guide their understanding of current performance and improve actions

What will the role involve?

Responsibility for ensuring all accounting transactions are posted correctly;
Preparation of full and detailed monthly management accounts;
Support the cost centres in preparation of the annual budget and ensure that the budget reflects the underlying status of the business;
Responsibility for all aspects of UK fixed assets;
UK month end income statement and balance sheet, ensuring all postings are correct.
Suitable Candidate:

Previous experience required in a similar role;
Studying towards ACCA or CIMA;
Microsoft Excel to advanced level;
Good all round accounts knowledge a pre-requisite;
Good team player;
Work with little supervision and on own initiative;
Excellent standard of accuracy and professionalism, interaction with senior management team.
