Job Description
Excellent opportunity for an Accountancy & Finance Graduate / Purchase Ledger Clerk to gain invaluable experience with one of Merseyside’s most established and recognised businesses. Based in a friendly and collaborative Finance Transactions team, and reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will join a team dedicated to clearing a backlog of complex supplier statement reconciliations, ensuring payments are allocated to the relevant projects and working to resolve any queries re duplicate payments, incorrect payment or non-payment. With statements often being made up of a high level of transactions with is very much a data analysis/cleaning exercise so the AP Manager is interested in applicants who are experienced Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Clerks/Accounts Assistants who are familiar with to complex ledgers/queries/reconciliation as well as Finance Graduates with good IT skills and an inquisitive mind and good problem-solving skills. Prior knowledge of the legal sector and SAR (Solicitors rules) would be advantageous but isn’t essential as training will be given.
A salary to £25k is complimented with benefits including 3% pension, 25 days holiday (pro rata), Onsite Parking, and Hybrid working with hours (Apply online only) Mon-Fri. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a well-established, friendly. The contract is envisaged to be a 4 month contract, but it could potentially be longer.
