Job Description
GALENT are recruiting for a permanent opportunity suitable for an experienced Tax Accountant with R&D exposure to work for a business consultancy based in Chichester, West Sussex.

You will be working with a wide range of industries from innovative manufacturing and engineering firms to specialist food and drink manufacturers managing your own portfolio of clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Identification of qualifying R&D projects through technical discussions with clients
* Assessment of claims and producing technical summaries
* Supporting tax claims and HMRC R&D enquiries
* Developing an appropriate method of data collection from clients
The ideal R&D Tax Consultant will possess the following attributes/skills:
* Part-qualified or Qualified Tax Consultant or Accountant with at least 3 years’ experience of working with CT600s
* Excellent report writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with external clients
* Experience of working with Research and Development (R&D) tax relief
* Experience of working with BTC Tax software
* Experience of working with Monday .com
* Previous experience of working in team based and consultancy environment.
