Job Description
Salary: Basic £30,000, OTE £50,000+
Hours: 40 hours per week. Permanent.

Auto ID technology is a niche market and an essential part of the retail, logistics, public sector and health care sectors. Barcodes and the Auto ID Technology are used everywhere from defining products, tracking goods, even tracking blood. This technology essentially digitalises the manual work flow processes to eliminate human and manual errors. Deriving from its original purpose in stock taking environments, this technology is ever evolving to serve even more aspects of IT, for example field mobility and order taking in restaurants. The majority of IT departments can no longer be without it.

We offer state-of-the-art Auto ID / data scanning hardware (scanners, printers, tablets, handhelds) from all the main manufacturers. We also provide our clients a repair and maintenance service. Our aim is to find the right solution for each client’s specific needs by offering tailored solutions, including second-hand options. Our knowledge, expertise and passion for Auto ID is undisputed amongst our manufacturing partners.
We are a socially responsible organisation who are mindful of our responsibilities to our planet, as a result we offer combinations of various buy-back options for old equipment to keep electronic waste to a minimum. We then look to refurbish or repurpose all returned equipment.
Overall role purpose:
To be the key point of contact between the organisation and its clients: answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products.
You will be expected to reach your monthly sales target through a mixture of developing sales with our existing clients as well as developing new markets for our services and products.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Daily management of existing customers, with growth expectations
* Warm lead’ calling, telesales to existing clients, and cold calling new clients
* Database management and sales project management and build a pipeline of project-based deals
* Representing the organisation at trade shows, exhibitions, events to generate leads
* Face-to-face selling and customer visits across UK and reaching your daily call rate target
* Take ownership of current non-managed accounts within the UK and to carry out any other reasonable duty as may be required
Person Specification
Essential:
* Able to demonstrate extensive account management experience
* Able to demonstrate experience of developing and delivering sales strategies that positively impact business development
* Experience of analysing sales data, proactive in anticipating needs and seeking opportunities to add value
* Responsive to requests; adept at flexing communication style to different individuals
* Excellent interpersonal skills, experience of successfully building lasting relationships and influencing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* Able to manage a range of simultaneous diverse activities and projects
* Experience of managing and developing client relationship management systems
* Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
* Excellent IT skills with experience of working with a range of database and network infrastructures
* Full valid driving licence and fluent in English.
