Great opportunity now available to join a leading Chartered Insurance Broker who specialise in the church, charity, not-for-profit and care sectors. Graduates will be considered as will those with some sales or customer service experience if you are looking for a career in insurance.
This broker is growth focussed and expanding rapidly, and as such are seeking an Insurance Broker to join them in their office in Croydon and have a genuine desire to see their staff succeed, grow and progress within the company.
This is a superb opportunity with full training provided, to join their new business broking team, who only deal with hot leads!!!
Their clients are primarily charities, not-for-profit groups, churches, community groups and other voluntary organisations with ‘social goals’.
The team receives enquires online and by telephone which they respond to in a timely manner, assessing cover requirements, obtaining quotations from insurers, and communicating these to prospective clients. There is no expectation to generate or produce leads as the team has a steady flow of enquiries which require attention, so there is always lots of business to get! The role involves handling new incoming (inbound) prospects and converting them over the phone up to £1.5k premium. No cold calling and working with friendly charity clients that are set up for great causes.
It’s a high-volume role, so they would need someone based close to South Croydon, for training, development, and teamwork. You must demonstrate positive, reliable, and honorable qualities – these are this firms defined cultural values and they recruit based on this framework.
As above they will consider graduates, as well as those with some sales or customer service experience, as well as those already in insurance.
On offer is a competitive basic salary £21,500 (and up to £25k for those with some insurance experience) with structured monthly and annual incentive schemes (circa £4k p.a) as well as a company pension scheme. A financial support scheme to obtain professional CII qualifications is also available.
