Job Description
Astute Recruitment has an amazing opportunity for a Finance Assistant to work full time within a thriving company which is based in Mansfield on a fixed term contract for 5 months.
Responsibilities would include:
* Working closely with the other Finance Assistants to achieve processing requirements
* Daily downloads for allocating customer receipts to customer accounts
* Preparing journals ready for posting to the accounts system
* Prepare and carrying out all treasury documentations
* Daily reconciliations on the different types of accounts
* Code & batch supplier invoices ready for the weekly payment run
* Liaising with other relevant departments regarding transaction queries
* Ad hoc tasks to support the Finance Department
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent attention to detail and highly organised, a confident and clear communicator. Someone who can work on their own initiative, but also as a team player, with previous experience within a Finance based position and competent in Excel.
This is a full-time role offering hybrid working once trained, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 17:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
You will receive a salary of £25,000
