Job Description
Tax Senior / Tax Manager, Hybrid remote / Stockport office, Salary: up to £65k negotiable (dependent on role level and experience) + excellent benefit package and career opportunities.

Due to continued growth and success, our client has a number of opportunities within their tax advisory team. We are keen to hear from established tax professionals with a desire to work with entrepreneurial businesses – people who will thrive in this fast-moving but highly rewarding advisory environment. Candidates with experience as a Tax Manager, Tax Senior, Tax Consultant, Senior Tax Associate, Tax Accountant or similar will be considered.

Tax Senior / Tax Manager – Role overview:

The company are a leading North-West Accountancy firm who collaborate with some of the most innovative and exciting companies, their leaders and owners. As a result, the work they do has a strong advisory focus and the role will have a significant advisory / projects focus (c80% of time). They have a particular passion for providing transaction-led advice to entrepreneurial and owner managed businesses and help these businesses in all stages of their life cycle, from start-up, through to expansion, and on to exit. They also get involved in all types of standard and more complex corporate projects.

Key responsibilities:

Corporation tax advisory work
Employment taxes, personal tax, inheritance tax, and / or indirect taxes
Cross-border work including EU expansion, M&A, financing and transfer pricing
Helping clients through transactions from start to finish
Supporting clients on a wide range of technical and commercial issues
Candidate requirements:

Experience in a similar role e.g. Tax Manager, Tax Senior, Tax Consultant, Senior Tax Associate, Tax Accountant. Compliance backgrounds also considered with the willingness to expand skillset in the advisory world.
Relevant tax or accountancy qualification (CTA, ACA, AAT)
A genuine interest in working with entrepreneurial SME clients and in an advisory / projects focused role.
Ability to work in a dynamic team in a fast-paced advisory role.
