Job Description
Leading global independent retail operator with operations at over 5,600 sites across Continental Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and Australia is looking for a Senior French speaking Accounts Payable Clerk to join their French team. This is a very busy role and the Accounts Payable Clerk will need to pick up a very fast pace. You will be part of the Accounting team which is responsible for the full end to end sales process for the business.

The role is based North of Manchester.

ROLE of the Senior Accounts Payable:

* Matching, batching and coding invoices

* Contacting suppliers to check any discrepancies

* Organising payment runs

* Reconciling suppliers accounts

* Contacting French suppliers when they haven’t sent their invoice on time

* Solving problems and helping the team to be more efficient

PROFILE:

* Fluent French and English

* Accountancy diploma either French or British (AAT or BTS compta) will be a plus

* Previous experience in Accounts Payable

* SAP experience will be an asset

* Strong numeracy skills

* Eye for details

* Willingness to learn

SALARY:

Up to £32k/pa according to skills and experience
