Job Description
A successful firm of accountants based on the Wirral is currently seeking to recruit a qualified accountant to join their team to manage and takeover clients on their books to compete accounts and taxation etc on their behalf.
Job role includes but is not exclusive to:
* Preparation of client financial and management accounts
* Reporting the accounts to management of the firm and the client
* Calculating and reporting personal and corporate tax
* Assisting the client with budget preparation, where required
* Shoe box accounting through to large corporation monthly financial and management accounting
* VAT returns
* Bank account reconciliations
* Payroll reconciliations
* Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
* Assisting in Audits as and when required
* Ad hoc duties as per required by the client and management regarding their accounts
To be considered for this role the successful candidate will have:
* Experience of working for a firm of accountants in the general accounts department
* Happy to work within Accounts preparation, Taxation and Audit etc
* Able to complete accounts from shoe box accounts through to multi million pound turnover
* Qualified Accountant
* Excellent customer service skills
* Able to work as a team but also on own initiative
