Fabric Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a progressive local business who are the UK's leading specialist retailer of industrial equipment. They are now seeking to appoint a Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk to join their busy Accounts department.

Description of the role:

Reporting to the Sales Ledger Supervisor, you will be responsible for liaising with the Sales Ledger customers to manage outstanding accounts and chase in overdue payments.
Duties will include opening new credit accounts, active payment collection via phone, email and letters, maintaining accurate Sales Ledger transaction records via daily journal and invoice postings.
You will also be required to deal with customer and store queries as they arise on a daily basis and provide support to the Sales Ledger function.About you:

Previous experience working in Credit Control and Sales Ledger is essential
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
