Job Description
We are working with a client that is looking for a Remote Working compliance officer to help provide high-quality compliance governance within a small in-house team.
There will be a focus on complaints handling and file checking within this role.
This role will play an important role in ensuring compliance with legislation and procedures. Helping to put in place effective systems and controls to mitigate risks and to guarantee compliance with the regulatory system. You will maintain a relationship with both advisers and support staff to enact a positive approach to compliance across the company.
This role may suit a paraplanner looking for a change in direction. To be considered you will need to be level 4 Diploma qualified and have experience working in Financial Planning.
Requirements
* Diploma in Financial Planning
* IT competent with knowledge of Intelligent Office an advantage.
* Excellent standard of written and verbal communication
* Analytical mind and excellent attention to detail
* A good understanding and knowledge of relevant FCA rules
* A good understanding of complaints procedures
* A good understanding of other relevant legislation, including that related to financial crime and GDPR
* A good understanding of Training & Competency
