Introduction:
Our client an established financial service organisation, is undertaking a transformation project including moving to a new core platform with integrated systems to deliver digital on-boarding of mortgage and savings business and regulatory reporting. This is an exciting time to join the existing core team as the project moves into the build and test phase.
The position is offered as an initial 8-month fixed term contract. This will be reviewed based on requirements and could increase. Role will be hybrid with a mix of home and office working to be agreed with the successful applicant
Working closely with the finance and project teams, as well as the testing partner and system provider to drive forward activity to support the delivery of a successful outcome to the regulatory system migration project., Responsibilities will include understanding the current UK prudential regulatory reporting requirements, the mappings from core banking and digital mortgage and savings systems into the new regulatory system, highlighting and resolving mapping errors.
Responsibilities
* liaise with system provider on the design requirements,
* liaise with core banking system provider with regards any design issues (e.g. COA/GL interface),
* liaise with both testing partner and system provider on the testing requirements,
* produce the test scripts with testing partner,
* assist testing partner with the Regulatory Reporting testing,
* be the point of contact for any Finance questions from general testing,
* document relevant knowledge of testing and system specification
Requirements
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and within a team
* A methodical approach to process; an aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail
* Good organisational and communications skills.
* Detailed understanding of UK prudential regulatory reporting requirements including corep capital and liquidity requirements, PRA 110, finrep
* Detailed understanding of mapping of data from core banking platform, nominal ledger to regulatory reporting system
* Familiarity with delivery tools such as Teams and Jira
