Job Description
My client is a leading company within the Australian car rental space. Due to significant growth over the last 12 months, they are currently looking for an experienced Recoveries team leader to join their team based in the UK.

This is a privately-owned business with over 300 staff across Australia, New Zealand and the UK (Manchester Airport), specialising in multiple industries including financial services, accident replacement vehicles and subscription car ownership. They are in a high growth stage of expansion, with a high ambition to grow their market share.

The primary objective of the Team Leader, Recoveries, is to manage, motivate, train, educate, monitor and report on a team of Recoveries Specialists to ensure a high standard of claims settlements with maximum revenue recovery and minimum write-off values in the most expedient manner.

The Role

• Managing Business Delivery and Results: Generate ideas and suggestions to enhance procedural performance

• Identify process improvements within the team and provide suggestions for change.

• Manage and record team productivity to achieve agreed KPIs

• Ensure escalation procedures are followed to ensure problems are resolved with minimum or no disruption to service

• Supply training to the Recoveries team

• Creation and reporting of specific data for analysis by your manager

• Ensure relationships with insurers are nurtured

• Create, improve and conduct new system analysis and reporting.

• Create, implement and monitor new procedures • have an awareness of existing and new case law

• Create arguments to counter existing and new case laws Managing People:

• Conduct and document regular 1:1's and ongoing feedback

• Conduct regular quality reviews to provide timely feedback

• Create and manage Training and Development plans for the team

• Manage the team's timekeeping, eg log-in/outbreaks & lunches

• Manage and report on sickness

• Present analysis and findings of your team's performance to your managers on a monthly basis
