Job Description
A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Finance department with the appointment of a Purchase Ledger Clerk.
As Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in taking responsibility for the day to day running and co-ordination of accounts payable.
Working from their manufacturing facility in Worcestershire, the Purchase Ledger Clerk will:
*Coding and posting supplier invoices.
*Providing supplier payment reports.
*Set up new vendors on the accounting system.
*Request bank details from suppliers and update systems ensuring records are up to date.
*Dealing with supplier's queries courteously and efficiently.
*Registering all suppliers invoices received and matching PO to the system.
The successful candidate should have knowledge of accounting software and excellent Excel skills. Minimum 3 years experience and working knowledge of Pegasus an advantage.
