Job Description
Agile Project Manager Banking

This is a new and exclusive role for a Agile Project Manager to join a thriving investment Banking as they invest in their agile team

Historically, the business has been very waterfall focused but they are now moving into a more hybrid way of working

As a result of this they need to re-organise the team to work in a more agile way

Role day to day

You will be joining as the key agile project manager
You will be bringing in your coaching experience, experience of setting up ceremonies, processes, procedures etc
You will also be the agile champion and encourage others in adapting to this way of working
This role is looking for a solid Project Manager who is comfortable working through the full project lifecycle from initiation through to closure
What is exciting about this PMO team is that you are a central project change team, so you will be involved in projects all across the banking business- rather than being pigeonholed in just one area
Projects are IT projects
There is a huge variety in where the projects will be based as the business are doing very well, large projects coming up this year in finance, derivatives, and risk

This is a brilliant opportunity for you to come in and really make the area your own, and make a genuine impact from day one

Role details

Title: Agile Project Manager
Employer: investment bank
Salary: £70.000- £100,000 plus bonus
Requirements: background as an project manager, and bringing in agile ways of working

What they will be looking for in you

Where have you set up agile processes and procedures
How do you act as an agile champion
They are looking for real enthusiasm and passion for bringing in agile ways of working
Confidence as a project manager across the full project lifecycle
Comfortable working across different business areas
Experience on IT projects
Experience on agile and waterfall projects- and understanding on when which should be used
Any experience in Capital markets is an advantage
Experience asking as a partner between the business and IT and talk across both
Ask lots of questions
