The Role:

The client is undergoing significant changes to its operational infrastructure to ensure that it is scalable to meet the Company's growth ambitions without significantly increasing the cost base.

The role is for a Senior Product Manager to work within the Analytics Products & Platform Team. The Analytics Platform & Products team is at the fore-front of building our next generation digital Investment Management platform and pioneering our new digital stack of web technologies (React/C#/Azure/SQL).

The Analytics Platform team engages a broad community of stakeholders along four cross-product disciplines: Portfolio Management, Research, Trading and Operations with the objective of building the systems that can enable them and their teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

In strong collaboration with a large team, you will be part of a highly visible team that has a direct impact on the execution of our product roadmap and vision.

We are looking for a strong Senior Product Manager with hands-on proven experience in implementing digital platforming and analytics strategies in the financial services (preferably Asset Management) domain. This role will interface with the other Transformation areas (Investment Data Platform, Investment Platform), programme delivery teams and various Front Office functions in implementing the Analytics Digital Platform & Products strategy.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

Actively working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders to distil and prioritize their requirements into a product strategy and roadmap
Acting as a product owner of selected applications representing the needs of users and condensing them into user stories or specifications, overseeing implementation and representing the product after release to ensure appropriate training and adoption
Building a strong partnerships, which enables delivery of the roadmap and resolution of any issues throughout the development lifecycle
Owning and be an ambassador for the strategy of a common technology platform that allows for better collaboration, sharing of best practices and efficiency
Tracking and reporting status and prioritization to senior management
Expertly manages and escalates risks using know-how and experience

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

15 years of work experience, with 5+ years of product management experience including exposure to buy-side or sell-side analytics and technology transformation.
Knowledge of financial products and investment management processes across asset classes
Experience working with agile development methodologies
Strong communicator that can inspire, gather people around a vision, negotiate and build trust. Strong collaborator who can reconcile different user needs and priorities
Experience working on large scale technology transformations
Expert inter-personal skills and experienced in building strong relationships with executive and senior management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proactive self-starter who can take abstract ideas and turn them into tangible solutions – including the ability to explain to a wider group (both tech and non-tech audience) complex solutions / ideas in very simple terms
Experience in facilitation of solution delivery workshops preferred
Exposure to data visualisation tools – Spotfire, Power BI or equivalent is preferred
Exposure to financial markets & asset management processes and understand analysis into a wide variety of asset classes and associated analytics (e.g. Equity, Fixed Income, Private Assets etc) is preferredRandstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
