An established manufacturing company with a globally recognised brand of niche vehicles are seeking enthusiastic Graduates who can join them within their Purchasing functions. They are looking for people who can thrive working in a team of committed professionals and can demonstrate a desire to learn and develop their skills, to support continued growth plans.

What happens in the Graduate programme:

During this programme you will be given the opportunity to experience different aspects of procurement, designed to provide you with an excellent foundation in the function.
In your role you will be responsible for:- supporting the Purchasing team procuring a broad range of commodities. The role will include negotiation with suppliers as well as extensive liaison with the customer areas to ensure optimal value for money is being achieved
This dynamic role will work to develop the performance of the existing supply base, identifying potential new sources for components and building strong relationships with other key internal business stakeholders.
After successful completion of the scheme, you will be promoted into a procurement position and provided with all of the training and support you need to be successful.

Who we are looking for:

To succeed, you will have achieved at least a 2:1 preferably in a related field of business management, business studies, supply chain management, economics, procurement, finance or logistics. Other relevant degrees may be considered.
Candidates who have completed an internship with some work experience is highly desired.
You will be well organised with excellent communication skills, be commercially aware and possess the ability to address immediate priorities whilst still managing deadlines with longer-term projects and strategic initiatives.
