Your Responsibilities

* The newest Pricing Manager will be leading, guiding, and developing team of Pricing Specialists to ensure standards and outcomes are met with high performance and quality, with a typical day seeing you:-

* Coaching team of seven Pricing Specialists and holding regular 1-2-1s

* Leading the team to deliver thoroughly researched, data led pricing in accordance with SLAs

* Leading the implementation of new pricing strategies generated by the Pricing Research team and promoting this to the Negotiation and field-based teams

* Working closely with the Pricing Research and Control team to develop new pricing strategies and maintain pricing controls

* Data analysis to track team performance against all KPIs

* Developing a thorough understanding of Revenue Management processes and decisions, including pricing and strategies, then using this information to provide expert pricing advice

* Contributing to ongoing development of pricing tables and income projection functionality, ensuring all tools are user friendly and deliver value to the process

* Work closely with teams to improve the Income Proposal document to create a compelling and relevant sales document for all potential customers

Skills and Qualifications

The next Pricing Manager should be someone who shares in our passion for innovation, who can hit the ground running sharing their expertise and drive forward our culture of progression and forward thinking!

All we ask is you have the following:-

* Strong leadership and organisation skills

* Good numeracy and data interpretation skills

* Pricing background

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

* Proven negotiator in difficult situations

* Commercial awareness (ideally within the holiday lettings or travel and tourism industry)

* Understanding of browser-based IT systems

* Experience of using MS Office suite (Excel etc)

* Able to work in a target driven sales environment

* Data analysis and data interrogation experience

* Ability to effectively communicate with other teams to influence change

* Understanding of demand elasticity and revenue management

* Experience of contract and commercial terms negotiation
